Aunt Dodie was born October 26, 1922 to Roby Lee Gray and Able Netting Nye and was received into the arms of our Lord May 23, 2003. She was the 6th born and youngest child. She was united in marriage to Zachary Taylor Harnish December 24, 1942. Uncle Zete was born January 28, 1916 and was received into the arms of our Lord May 19, 1972. Aunt Dodie and Uncle Zete were the proud parents of 5 children."

[6594] Elizabeth is daughter of Clifton Ward (1906-1977, of Searsport, son of Raymond Ward and wife Estelle Warman) and Sadie Bailey (m. 15 Jul 1950, Winterport, ME, b. 4 Sept 1915 at Knox, dau. of Fred Bailey and Estella Young). Granddaughter Jessica wrote in March, 2006: "'Gram spent most of life being a stay at home mother taking care of her four children. She did work for a short time at a local farm once the children were in school. She has always been involved with her children and their families. 'Grampa' always called her the 'mother to all children.'" Her obituary in the Bangor Daily News 10 Aug 2012: "SEARSPORT - Elizabeth E. Connor, "A mother to all children," 78, passed on Aug. 8, 2012, in Searsport, with her loving family by her side. Elizabeth was born Dec. 2, 1933, in Searsport, daughter of Clifton and Sadie (Bailey)Ward. Elizabeth was a loving and unselfish woman who always gave to others. She was an avid collector of many things and loved going to the flea markets to see her "family." She enjoyed spending time at the horse races and will always be remembered for her great love of the color pink. Elizabeth is survived by four children, Arnold Connor and wife, Dot, of Stockton Springs, Robert Connor and wife, Laura, of Searsport, Dottie Wellman and husband, Joe, of Frankfort and Marguerite Steeves and husband, Darol, of Searsport. She was a wonderful grandmother to nine grandchildren, Jessica and husband, Bobby, Joe Jr. and wife, Andrea, Missy and husband, Doug, Jason, Amanda and companion, Jeremy, Justin and wife, Jess, Tim Jr. and fiancee, Kasey, Casey and fiance, Shawn, and Chris and wife, Alisha; and 23 great-grandchildren. Elizabeth is also survived by six sisters, Marie Curtis, Phyllis Greenleaf, Theresa Connor, Marilyn Littlefield, Ethel Greenleaf and Hazel Harvey; two brothers, Kenneth and Douglas Ward; two sisters-in-law, Caroline and Winnie Ward; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth follows home her loving husband, Kenneth A. Connor; two brothers, George and Clifton Ward; grandson, Jason Connor; and son-in-law, Tim Daley Sr. A special thank you to Brandy and others from Waldo County Hospice for all the help you have provided to Elizabeth and the family during the past few months."
