Barker, 89, 3240 Creek rd., died January 11 at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born in Granger Township, Ohio, and had lived her life in the Akron area. She was a member of the Ghent Christian Church, and a lifetime member of Women's Benefit Association. The widow of Fred J. Barker, she is survived by son, Fred J. of Bath, O.; brother, Howard Houck, Capitola, Calif.; sister, Irene Crile of Bath; and grandchildren. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Billow Chapel, 85 N. Miller rd., Fairlawn, Rev. Gene Chiavetta officiating, where friends may call Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Bath Cemetery."
