[51400] Find A Grave memorial 58921997 offers Albert's obituary: "Albert S. Herrick, 86, died August 3, 2012 at an Ellsworth hospital. He was born in New Brunswick, Canada November 13, 1925 the son of Frank L. and Annie M. (Garland) Herrick. Growing up, Albert told of how they caught fish, trapped animals and had large gardens to feed the family and he continued his love of the outdoors. He served in the US Navy during WWII and was a former registered Maine guide. He owned and operated the Lamoine Kennels for many years. Before having his own kennels, he worked as a veterinary assistant in Ellsworth. He enjoyed going on many moose hunting trips with his son David's family. Albert was a member of the Lamoine Fire Dept and cooked many meals there, but was famous for his clam chowder. He also belonged to the Lamoine Grange and Lamoine Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, David Herrick and wife Julie; daughter, Susan Sanchez and husband Jim all of Lamoine; grandchildren, David Herrick, Jr., Anne Herrick and Jordin Sanchez. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Hildred (Jordan); daughter, Julie Anne; brother, Edwin Herrick; sisters, Annie Smith and Muriel Wilbur."
[53865] Maria is said to be daughter of Antonio Stella (b. in 1841) & Clorinda Ortono (b. in 1841). Maria and Nicola and descendants are from the unverified Giordano Family Tree in 2023 in Ancestry.com which states she arrived in the USA in 1920 and in the 1930 federal census in Philadelphia is widowed and head of household.
