Another web site, also unverified, at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~pmcbride/james/f037.htm, states that Agnes is "great grand-daughter of Richard de Clare, Earl of Hertford."

Mark married Gladys Pearl Trask on August 15, 1917 in Waterville, Maine. Mark was a laborer at Ellsworth, Maine and a fisherman at Machiasport, Maine. Mark and Gladys had at least eight children." Mark served in the Army during World War I from 25 July to 5 December 1918. and did not serve overseas.
