[18551] Avila is identified in Wurts' "Magna Charta, Part VIII," p. 2627, which states that she is daughter of William de Braos. Also see NEGHR 150:322. Alina later married Richard de Peshale, whom she met when they were prisoners together in the Tower, and together they held Gower until her death in 1331. Bramber passed to her son John de Mowbray."
[268] Pennsylvania records give John Jacob Ritzman's wife as Eva Maria. This could be a "familiar" name or a contraction of Eva Margaretha. Eva Margaretha is daughter of Georg [sic] Krieger per marriage record. She m. (2) 30 May 1756 Peter Muench (widower; he m. [1] 1724 in Germany to Christina Oster; he d. 1766) - they married at Rehrersburg and had no children; his surname became Minnich. See http://home.earthlink.net/~remlinr/kriegch3.htm for the Krieger family (4/2002). Ancestry.com suggests the meaning of the surname: "Swiss German, German, and Dutch: occupational name for a mercenary soldier, Middle High German krieger (possibly from Late Latin (miles) gregarius common soldier, from grex herd, flock, crowd)"
