Discharged at Washington, D. C., on Dec. 22, 1922, as a 1st Lieutenant. Cited in General Orders No. 74, Headquarters, 26th Division, AEF, France, Aug. 31, 1918. The Division Commander takes great pleasure in citing in orders the following named officers and men: * * *, * * *, 2nd Lieutenant Alfred J. Bartram, who showed marked gallantry and meritorious service in the capture of Torcy, Belleau, Givry, Bouresches Woods, Rochet Woods, Hill 190, overlooking Chateau-Thierry, Etrepilly, Bezuet, Epieds, Trugny and La Fere Woods to the Jaulgonne-Fere-on-Tardenois Road, during the advance of this Division against the enemy from July 18th to 25th. 1918, in the second Battle of the Marne. Cited in General Orders No. 88, Headquarters, 26th Division, AEF, France, Oct. 16, 1918. The Division Commander is pleased to cite in orders the following named officers and men: * * *, 1st Lieutenant Alfred J.
