[37719] Thankful is from the unverified Hoctor Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015.
[54544] Edith is age 3 in the 12 April 1930 federal census in Machiasport, Washington Co., ME in the household of her parents, Michael, age 39, and Livinnie (age 31). Her obituary: "It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith E. Davis (Cherryfield, Maine), born in Machias, Maine, who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edith E. Davis to pay them a last tribute. She was predeceased by : her husband Elwood Davis; her siblings, Kathleen Fickett (Paul) and James 'Jim' Sullivan (Julia); her niece Carol Crabtree; and her daughter-in-law Rebecca Davis. She is survived by : her son Kirby Davis; and her nieces, Paula Farren and Janice Ames (Burley). She is also survived by nieces and nephews. A verse recently read may hold true for those who knew her: 'Her voice will echo in memories you hold, Her smile will warm you through stories retold; Her love will touch you in spirit each day, Her life will be treasured in beautiful ways.' She will be sorely missed by many, but is finally home with her Lord and Savior 'Jesus Christ' beginning a new and wonderful adventure."
[29878] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luke_White_(Irish_politician) reports he "was an Irish bookseller, operator of a lottery and Whig politician. He started as an impecunious book dealer, first in the streets of Belfast, then from 1778 at an auction house in Dublin buying and reselling around the country. By 1798, during the Irish Rebellion, he helped the Irish government with a loan of 1 million pounds (at £65 per £100 share at 5%). He then purchased Luttrellstown Castle from Henry Luttrell, 2nd Earl of Carhampton in 1800, and changed its name to Woodlands to eradicate the memory on his previous owner. White was High Sheriff of Longford in 1806.[5] He entered the British House of Commons for Leitrim in 1812 and sat as Member of Parliament (MP) for it until his death in 1824."
