Mike Stafford (mike-sta4d@prodigy.net) offers on his Web site (July, 1999): "Edmund Cranmer of Sutterton, is the earliest documented ancestor of Archbishop Thomas Cranmer. Thoroton in his "History of Nottinghamshire" attempts to extend this Cranmer lineage back to the reign of Edward I, by listing from an old heraldic pedigree, five generations who lived in Sutterton, before the family moved to Aslacton. . . . Hugh De Cranmer had issue by Matilda, daughter of William de Sutterton; Gilbert Cranmer, who had issue by Ida, daughter of Adam de Loughton; Hugh Cranmer, who was the elder brother of John and father of Thomas Cranmer, whose son Edmund married the heiress of Aslacton. "The above lineage however was disputed by Robert Waters, a scholarly genealogist, who wrote in 1887, that there was no evidence to prove the existence of these persons, except that the name of Hugo de Cranmere, had been found painted in the west window of the Sutterton Church. "Edmund and his wife Isabella, were both living in 4 Henry VI (1425-6) when they purchased certain lands in Aslocton from William de Sibthorpe." The Annales of Berthold record the betrothal in 1059 of 'Andreas Pannoniæ rex…filio suo Salomoni adhuc puero' and 'sororem eius [Heinrici regis] minorem Iuditham'. The Annales Yburgenses refer to the wife of 'Ungariam…[rex] Salemannum' as 'regis Heinrici sororem'. The 'Gesta Hungarorum' records that King András forced the marriage of 'Salomoni regi' and 'Henricus imperator…Sophiam suam filiam', specifying that she had earlier been betrothed to 'filio regis Franciæ'. Having left Hungary for Germany after her husband was deposed in 1074, she was living in Regensburg when her husband attempted to reclaim the Hungarian throne. She refused to receive him when he returned in 1083. Her second marriage is confirmed by the 'Chronicæ Polanorum' which records that King W?adys?aw married 'sororem imperatoris tertii Henrici, uxorem prius Salemonis Ungariæ regis'. The 'Chronicon Polono-Silesiacum' specifies her name 'Iudite'. The necrology of Weltenburg records the death 'II Id Mar' of 'Iudita de Polonia soror Heinrici imperatoris IV'. The necrology of Regensburg St Emmeran records the death 'II Id Mar' of 'Iudita regina'. [Betrothed ([1055/59]) to Philippe de France, son of Henri I King of France & his third wife Anna Iaroslavna of Kiev (1052-château de Melun, Seine-et-Marne 30 Jul 1108, bur Abbaye Saint Benoît-sur-Loire). The 'Gesta Hungarorum' records that King András forced the marriage of 'Salomoni regi' and 'Henricus imperator…Sophiam suam filiam', specifying that she had earlier been betrothed to 'filio regis Franciæ'. This could only refer to the future Philippe I King of France as it is unlikely that the emperor's daughter would have been betrothed to his younger brother. This betrothal is not corroborated in the western European primary sources so far consulted. He succeeded his father in 1060 as Philippe I King of France. m firstly (betrothed 1059, early 1063) Salomon King of Hungary, son of András I 'the Catholic' King of Hungary & his second wife Anastasia Iaroslavna of Kiev (1052-killed in battle 1087). m secondly ([1089]) as his second wife, Wladyslaw I Herman Prince of Poland, son of Kazimierz I Karol 'Odnowiciel/the Renewer' Prince of Poland & his wife Dobronega Maria Vladimirovna of Kiev ([1043]-4 Jun 1102)."

Marilyn was a wonderful woman that was loved, and is missed and will always be cherished. Our 'Grammy' as she liked to be called by her grandchildren was an amazing wife, mom, daughter and baker of biscuits like no other could be. Marilyn's story starts on February 15, 1936, the oldest child to Stanley Willey and Nina (Grant) Willey. Marilyn grew up on Cherryfield Ridge and had two siblings, Janice and 'Buddy.' She grew up going to Cherryfield Academy and due to her mother's tuberculosis, she spent a great deal of time with her grandmother, Dora Willey. As time went on, she met the love of her life, Dale Schevenieus. They were married in 1956, and together they had 4 children, Michael, Diana, Karen and Kevin. Dale and Marilyn loved square dancing in their younger years and helped start the Lobster Reelers Club. Additionally, they owned Sweeney's Supermarket for 10 years where Marilyn took pride in her work as a scan file coordinate before retiring. Marilyn enjoyed wintering in Florida, cooking and canning goods from the garden. She passed away on November 27, 2021. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Dale Schevenieus; her sister, Janice Rolfe and her extended family; daughter, Karen Schevenieus; son and his spouse, Michael Schevenieus and Larry Hammock; two grandchildren, Tyler Openshaw and Cassandra Openshaw; and one great-grandchild, Theodore Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her two children, Diana and Kevin Schevenieus; her mother and father; Nina Willey and Stanley Willey; and her brother,'Buddy.'".
