[23300] "My dad is the epitome of all I want to become. I was not born until he was 40 years old so much of his youthful indescetions had past and he honed his parenting skills onthe other 6 kids in the family. He was not active in the church for much of my childhood, but he was always supportive and encouraging for those of us who were. I am thankful for repentance, because my dad taught me how to use it. He also taught me how to avoid needing to use it for the more severe things. I love my dad and hope that all I know of him will be passed on to my kids. I hope they learn to love him through me. I hope they turn their hearts to him to see that in many ways he was a pioneer in the Haws family, introducing us to the gospel and accepting not only the truths but the works of the gospel that will bless us all eternally." - by his son who provided much of the information in the imported GEDCOM for this family.
