[14216] John was 18 months old when he traveled on the Ship Anne with his mother, sister and brother to Plymouth, MA. He had a grant of land in Exeter, 1660, and may have moved to Middleton where one of this name died in Dec. 1686, leaving children (Mary 14, John 11, Richard 7 and Ebenezer, 8 months). He was a wealthy landowner. He is likely the person of his name baptised at Plymouth, MA in 1624 ("Penobscot Pioneers," Gray, p. 76).
