He was a member of St. Ann's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Warrington. Mr. Andrusko was a retired pipefitter for Rohm and Haas Chemical, Philadelphia. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Supsinskas; two daughters, Gerrie Ann, wife of Paul Walker, Montgomery, and Gloria, wife of John Dutcavich, Minersville; a son, David Montello, Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen, wife of Alex Bamburak, artd Julia, wife of John Matsko, both of New Jersey; nieces and nephews. Requiem Divine Liturgy was offered in St. Ann's Church. Interment was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mount Carmel."

Donald M. Piper, 73, of 119 Oregon St, Mercersburg, PA died at home. Unexpected death attributed to heart attack. Born to the late Truman W. and Dessie Irene Mayhugh Piper. Mr. Piper worked for 46 years at the former Lowengart Company of Mercersburg, until the company ceased operations in 1993. He was a former coach with the Mercersburg Little League. For the past 10 years he was the groundskeeper of the Little League. For many years he bowled with the Monday Night League at Buchanan Lanes in Mercersburg. He enjoyed rabbit hunting and raising beagle hunting dogs. The Piper family has been very active in local sports. Mr. Piper coached his sons in baseball and attended countless sporting events to watch his numerous grandchildren. Surviving are: wife, Anna Miller Piper, (married MAR 27, 1948); sons, Wayne (wife Lucinda Rockwell) Piper and Donald (wife Deborah A. Hunsberger); sisters Alma June Martin of York and Mary A. VanHorn and Nancy A. Rife, both of Chambersburg; brothers, William T. Piper of Cove Gap and Earl R. and Carl E. Piper, both of Greencastle; numerous grandchildren.

Born in St. Johnsbury on October 9, 1933, she was the daughter of the late John and Mae Silsby. Carolyn graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy in 1951 and UVM in 1955. Carolyn taught math for four years at Newport High School before obtaining a Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin. Carolyn returned to her Vermont roots and settled in Montpelier where she taught biology and math at Montpelier High School from 1964 to 1996. In 1987, Carolyn received the National Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Math. In 1988, Carolyn traveled to China as a delegate of the Citizens Ambassador Program, sharing in a scientific and professional exchange. Carolyn had the distinction of being named Vermont Teacher of the Year. Carolyn loved each and every student that she had. Scores of her former students have had continued contact with Carolyn through the years, and she enjoyed hearing updates of her student's children and grandchildren. The Montpelier Rotary Club named her Distinguished Citizen of the Year in 2010. Carolyn enjoyed many activities that immersed her in nature. She enjoyed volunteering at the North Branch Nature Center. Carolyn dabbled in acting and later ushered at the Lost Nation Theater. She played violin and baratone horn for the Capital City Band and Orchestra. She was active with the Unitarian Universalist Church in Montpelier. Carolyn was predeceased by her sister, Janet Silsby Dunham. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Wallace C. Dunham of Madbury, NH, three nieces, Susan and her husband, Lawrence Smolinsky of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Cynthia and her husband Donald Dyer of Falmouth, Massachusetts, Carol Anne and her husband Raymond Vaicunas of Randolph, New Jersey, and 4 great nieces and nephews: Rachael and Luke Vaicunas, and Nathan and Alyssa Dyer."

He graduated from DePauw University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity, and served for six years as a member of the university's board of trustees. He first became associated with his father in operation of the Shelbyville Trust Company and served as secretary-treasurer of the firm until it closed. For the past 15 years he had operated a retail liquor store on N. Harrison St. On October 15, 1914, he was married to Blanche McDaniel who survives with three children, Harry H. Whitcomb at home, Mrs. Budd G. Brown of Columbia, Mo., and Mrs. Norman C. Forster of Mt. Pleasant, Mich. Also surviving are four grandchildren. Mr. Whitcomb was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Elks lodge and a past Rotarian."
