[2704] At age 10 Edmund became King of Sicily (4/1255); the cost to his father was a cause of the Provisions of Oxford and the Barons' War. He became Earl of Leicester in 1265 and of Lancaster in 1267; joined brother Edward on his crusade. He was also Count of Champagne. He m. (1) 9 April 1269 Aveline de Forz (d. 10 Nov 1274). He died besieging Bordeaux. He was called Crouchback because of the cross he wore on his back.
[23611] The LDS Church's unverified Pedigree Resource File states that Pete McDaniel was about age 62 in the 1910 census at Blacktower, NM and that Pete is son of Robert McDaniel (b. in 1800, died in 1862 "Civil War") and Mary Cahal (daughter of Barney Cahal and Elienor [sic] Hall).
