She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and of St. Paul's Cathedral. She was the wife of the late Harry W. Steinhoff. Surviving are two sons, Carroll F., of Tucson, Ariz., and Richard B., two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 :30 Tuesday in the William R. Hamilton Co., with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery."

Stanley, 64, wife of Leverette Stanley, died Tuesday at a Bangor hospital after long illness. She was born at Swans Island, Jan. 7, 1901, daughter of Warren and Lottie (Stanley) Staples. She was a member of the West Tremont Methodist Church and past noble grand of Rowena Rebekah Lodge of here. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Clark of Southwest Harbor, Mrs Charlotte Black of Bernard; two sons, Perly of Seal Cove and Lyford of McKinley; 12 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Cora Page of Newcastle; two brothers, Carroll Staples of Swans Island and Burley of South Bristol; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Fernald Funeral Chapel, Mount Desert, the Rev. James Waugh and the Rev. Gerard Remsen officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Height Cemetery, Southwest Harbor."
