She had been ill for about a year. She was the daughter of David Sheaffer and wife of Spring township, and she and Mr. Bower to whom she was married by Rev. Peter Sahm in October 1862, were students of Loysville Academy at the same time. She was a member of the Lutheran church for many years. Her husband and the following children survive her: Mrs. Annie Wilcox and Joseph N. Bower of Chicago, Charles S. of Saxton, Harry of Philadelphia and Milton R. at home. The funeral will be today, services to be held at 10 a. m., with interment in Mount Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Spring township." Anna is daughter of David Sheaffer and Sarah Tizel.
