[40064] "Lewisburg Journal [Lewisburg, PA], 9 July 1897," p. 1: "On Thursday morning occurred the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Haines, at the home of her daughter in Millmont, old age being the main cause of death, aged 86 years, 6 months and 20 days. The funeral took place on Sunday morning from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Strickler. The remains were taken to Centerville for interment. Her husband proceeded her to the grave a number of years ago. There are eight children surviving her among who is A. H. Haines, of Winfield."

[43177] Annie is daughter of Ard Brandt (1840 - 1923) and Sarah Jane Kauffman (1842 - 1882). "The Perry County Democrat [Bloomfield, PA], 7 June 1944," p. 3: "Mrs. Annie T. Rice, 73, died Wednesday evening at her home at Marklesville after an illness of several months. She was the daughter of Ard and Sarah Kauffman Brandt and was born in Millerstown. She was married to Charles G. Rice, who died in 1932. Survivors include a brother Harvey C. Brandt, York; three sons, Milton E., of Harrisburg; C. Ivan, Marklesville, and Alton B., Newport R. D She was a member of the Marklesville Reformed church."
[47047] Charles was a wholesale clerk according to his death certificate which states he is son of William Latsha and Mary Treon. Charles m. (2) Daisy S. Snyder (1878-1955) and had Luella Mildred Latsha (1919-2003). "Shamokin News-Dispatch [Shamokin, PA], 5 April 1958," p. 2: "Charles W. Latsha, 76, Trevorton Road, died last night at 11:00 in the family residence after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Latsha was a patient in Shamokin Hospital one week, and had a relapse after returning to his home. Mr. Latsha, a son of the late William and Mary Ellen (Treon) Latsha, was born January 29, 1882, in Rebuck. He attended rural schools in that area and moved to Sunbury when he was a young man. He wasemployed as a plumber while living in the county seat. Mr. Latsha moved to Shamokin to accept employment with the H. S. Zimmerman Company about 30 years ago. He retired when the firm ceased operation. During the past 25 years, Mr. Latsha lived along the Trevorton Road. He was a member of Forest Hills Fire Company. Mr. Latsha was first married to Eva Pawling, Rebuck, 54 years ago. Some time after her death he was married in Sunbury to the former Daisy Snyder, Sunbury. Mrs. Daisy Latsha died July 1, 1955. Survivors include a son, Donald W. Latsha, a grandson, Vernon L. Latsha, and a sister, Mrs. Emma Geist, Shamokin."
