At one time or another he held most of the local offices. After the death of his second wife he married Diana, the widow of John Bogar. Seiler, 66, of 601 E. Dewart St., Shamokin, was pronounced dead on arrival at Shamokin State General Hospital this morning at 7:50. Born in Shamokin, April 14, 1907, Mr. Seiler was a son of the late Victor A. and Sarah F. (Dorwart) Seiler. He was a lifelong resident of the community. Mr. Seiler was a representative of Josephthal and Co. Stock Brokers, Bloomsburg Branch, for 10 years. He was married to the former Dorothy E. Edmunds. Mr. Seiler was a graduate of Mercersburg Academy and Lafayette College. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Shamokin Lodge of Elks. Survivors, in addition to the widow, include a son, Richard, Jr., Princeton, N.J.; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Janice) Gillespie, Allentown, and seven grandchildren."
