Ohio about 1861, where they lived in rural Superior Twp., southwest of the village of Montpelier (near the hamlet of West Buffalo). Nathan Colbert's Williams Co. death record and his wife's Williams Co. estate administration record and death record do not match the dates on the stone. The surname 'Colbert' is said to be a surname of Norman-French, Norse-Germanic and Old English origin, from Kol or Kollir ('helmet') and berht ('bright' or 'famous')." Seiler, 91, a resident of Shamokin for many years, died yesterday morning at 11:30 in the hospital of the Masonic Home at Elizabethtown. Elizabethtown. A native of Lancaster, Mrs. Seiler was born June 23, 1877. a daughter of the late John and Mary Dorwart. She lived in Shamokin for 66 years before entering the Masonic Home two and a half months ago. Mrs. Seiler was married in Lancaster in September, 1902. to Victor Seiler. She was graduated from Lancaster Hign school. Mrs. Seiler was member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Shamokin, and the Order of Eastern Star, of which she was past worthy matron. Surviving are the husband, guest in the masonic home; one son, Richard Seiler, Shamokin; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren."

Culver of the First Methodist church, Platteville, will officiate. Burial will be in the Eastman cemetery at South Wayne. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Robert Ritzman, Orangeville, Ill.; Mrs. Howard Lausch, Cedarville, Ill., and Mrs. Graves, Platteville; one son, Melvin, Rockford; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Underwood, Agra, Kas., and Mrs. Clarence Saueerman, Greenwood, Wis.; two brothers, Lew Hale, from Virginia, and Will Hale, South Wayne, 12 grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren."
