[50835] "The Ellsworth American [Ellsworth, Maine]. 12 December 2012": "Brooklin - Roger Roland Hutchinson Sr., 75, of Brooklin passed away Dec. 5, 2012, at Blue Hill Memorial Hospital with his family at his side. He was born July 6, 1937, in Stonington, the son of the late Loren and Ada Roberta (Robbins) Hutchinson. Roger worked for several local contractors before he decided to start his own carpentry business in the 1970s, which later his son, Roger Jr. joined making it Roger Hutchinson & Son Carpentry. Roger was extremely talented with musical instruments. He enjoyed playing bluegrass music every Friday night with a group of friends. Roger would have coffee with a dear friend, Phillip Eaton, every morning to reminisce about old passed friends, genealogy, and many other topics, laughing at all the good things each had to say. At the time of his passing Roger was working on reupholstering his Model A; he took great pride in that project. The things people will miss most about him are the humorous jokes he would tell, every time you saw him he would have something funny to say, when you needed some wise advice he would always know what to say, he could lift your spirit with a single smile. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine 'Tink' Hutchinson of Brooklin; his children, Corinne Mary Hutchinson of Sedgwick, Roger Roland Hutchinson Jr. and his wife, Marcia, of Brooklin, and Andrea Lynn Dyer of Brooklin; grandchildren, Gretchen Pemberton and her fiancé, Mark Wood, Emerald Ryan and husband, Casey, Brandon Atwood, Derek Hutchinson and wife, Jacqueline, Heather Jones and husband, Derek, Hollie Hutchinson, Tabatha Ciomei and husband, Lance, Joshua Morey, Jessica and Hannah Dyer; great-grandchildren, Iris and Izabel Ryan, Hannah Atwood, Brayden Wood, and Hunter Ciomei. He also will be dearly missed by his sister, April Hope Eaton of Deer Isle; many extended family and friends; and his little dog, Willie Whiskers. Roger was predeceased by his four brothers, Loren 'Bill,' Lewis, James and Robert Hutchinson."

Georgia Elizabeth Kenniston Fecteau, 86, of Westbrook, formerly of Waterville, passed away peacefully on Aug. 9, 2019, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Bangor on Dec. 15, 1932, the daughter of David W. Kenniston and Nellie A. Smith Kenniston.
Georgia attended a one room school house in Amherst, Maine, through the eighth grade. She attended high schools in Brewer, Maine and Florida and went on to graduate from Waterville High School. She then became a licensed practical nurse and worked at several facilities including the Central Maine Sanatorium and the Bangor State Hospital. She retired from AMHI after 20 years of service.
Georgia was a member of the Silence Howard Hayden Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Maine State Association of Retirees. After retiring, she enjoyed volunteering at Waterville area hospitals, nursing homes and various other places.
Georgia also enjoyed playing cards, knitting, crocheting, reading and dining at fine restaurants. She loved scenic drives, especially along the coast. She would often ask to follow an unknown road hoping to find some breathtaking sceneries and many were found.
She was predeceased by her parents, her stepmother, her son, Clifford Fecteau, her husband, Philmore Fecteau, her sister, Daveeda Brown and her nephew, Ervin Brown Jr.
Georgia is survived by her son, Thomas Little of Westbrook, a half-brother, David Kenniston of Amherst, a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Glidden of Augusta, her niece, Susan Little of East Vassaboro, and several other nieces and several nephews.
There will be a celebration of her life at the Italian Heritage Center at 40 Westland Ave., Portland, on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019, at 11 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Dan and Scott's Cremation and Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan, Maine, 04976.
Special thanks to the numerous healthcare professionals at the many facilities who cared for Georgia over the years, including, but not limited to, Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Maine Medical Center, Maine General, Lakewood Rehabilitation, Seaside Rehabilitation and Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care.
Georgia had many beloved dogs, cats and birds over the years and enjoyed feeding the stray neighborhood cats. Accordingly, donations in her memory may be made to: Humane Society Waterville Area, 100 Webb Road, Waterville, ME, 04901. Also donations may be made in her memory to the: Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care, P.O. Box 828, Waterville, ME, 04093 OR Hospice of Southern Maine, 180 US Route One, Scarborough, ME, 04074.
