She was born in Bangor in 1931, a daughter of David and Nellie (Smith) Kenniston. Daveeda attended Higgins Classical Institute in Charleston and graduated from Brewer High School, class of 1950. Daveeda worked for the Department of Human Services for 23 years and was a member of the Maine State Association of Retirees.
She enjoyed her hobbies of knitting, crocheting and reading. Daveeda mostly enjoyed the many cats that she adopted from the humane societies over the years.
Daveeda was predeceased by her parents; stepmother; and a son, Ervin Brown. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Little, of East Vassalboro; two sons, Daniel Brown, and his wife, Cristita, currently in the Philippines, and Donald Brown and his wife, Nancy, of Pittsfield; one sister, Georgia Fecteau, of Waterville; one half-brother, David Kenniston, of Amherst; two grandchildren, Heather Brown, of Portland, and David Brown and his wife, Michelle, and two great-grandsons, Malachi and Josiah, of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and two nephews, Clifford Fecteau, of Fairfield, and Thomas Little, of Westbrook."

M., Shelby Chapter No. 178, R. and A. M., Mansfield Council No. 94, Mansfield Commandery No. 21, Knights of Templar, Lake Erie Consistory of the Scottish Rite, Al Koran Temple of Cleveland and Baku Grotto. Surviving are his widow, Tona; daughter, Mrs. W. S. Hancock; father, Henry, and two grandsons, all of Shelby. Services will be at 2:30 p. m. Monday in the Shelby Lutheran church with Dr. D. B. Young, pastor, officiating. He will be assisted by Rev. Hackenberg, Greenville Lutheran pastor. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery."
