The cartulary of Gorze records a charter which names 'Nebolungus' as benefactor of Angilramn Bishop of Metz. A charter dated to [866/75] relating to a dispute between 'Vulfaldum episcopum et Heccardum comitem' concerning land at Perrecy, heard before 'Leudo episcopus et Adelardus comes missi dominici in comitatu Augustidunense', refers to a charter 'de temporibus domni Pipini regis sive de nomen Nivelongi'."

[21338] Robert m. (1) Eliza Condon and had one son, Timothy, who was a blacksmith. Robert m. (2) Polly Snow Parker and with her had eight sons and two daughters. "Maritime History of Brooksville," LeCain W. Smith (Brooksville, ME Historical Society, 2005), p. 79 states "He was a self-educated ship's caulker who became a master mariner. In his younger days he and his brother Job worked hard at a Castine shipyard. They would row the two miles to and from Home across the Bagaduce no matter what the weather. He first married Eliza Condon and had a son Timothy. In 1820 he married Polly Snow Parker and they had eight sons, all but one of whom followed the sea and became captains."
