[5164] Mark Honey believes this Joanna may in fact be confused with Joanna Dunbar, daughter of David Dunbar and Elizabeth.
[16884] Lucy Crosby resided with Moody Foster (and his wife Martha J.) - ref. 1860 census of Amherst, which shows Moody as age 36. Cf. "Foster Genealogy," Frederick Clifton Pierce (Chicago: W. B Conkey Co., 1899), p. 252. The unverified Pedigree Resouruce File MM4V-6GK states Lucy is daughter of Stephen Crosby and Eunice _____. Ancestry.com offers: "Crosby Name Meaning - Scottish and English: habitational name from any of various places in southwestern Scotland and northern England that are named with Old Norse kross 'cross' + býr 'farm', 'settlement'. Irish: Scottish and English surname (see 1 above) adopted by bearers of Gaelic Mac an Chrosáin (see McCrossen)."

[121] Catharine is not named among Andrew's children [each with surname spelled Heffer] receiving a distribution as his estate is settled 10 July 1797 - she had by then married Jacob D. Moyer, apparently the Jacob Moyer whose debt (incurred by a payment for a previous settlement) is discharged by a payment at the final settlement. Catharine and husband Jacob Myer [sic] are named in a release of her mother's property to Catharine's brother-in-law, John Dauberman (husband of Mary Haffer), 16 May 1803 (recorded 25 Oct 1803)[Northumberland Co. probate file BlcM, p. 258].

[56063] "The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 7 March 2024: "Corinth - Joseph K. Strout, 78, died March 1, 2024, following a long battle with COPD. He was born on July 26, 1945, in Corinth, to the late Clarence L and Edith M (Miner) Strout. Tuddy was a hard worker and good provider for his family all of his life. His love for cars, at a young age, lead him to treasure them as if collecting match box cars. He enjoyed being self-employed at various businesses: Used Cars and Auto Parts, Hay Service, Towing Service, and other various jobs - a jack-of-all-trades. He loved to 'dicker' for the best price. His persistence usually got him the deal he was looking for, as that is what made it desirable. Tuddy enjoyed fishing, especially in the Greenville area. He enjoyed demolition derbies, tractor pulls, auctions, and watching westerns. When he was young he raced and worked at Speedway 95, roller skating, and found his fair share of trouble. Most of all, he loved to spend time talking with family and friends (too many to list). And yes, he loved to talk. A person nearby was not a stranger for very long, he would eventually find a connection with them. He enjoyed being confused for Santa Clause by kids. He enjoyed doing what he could for others, providing them with food and such. He always rooted for and supported the underdog. Surviving in addition to his loving wife of 56 years, Doreen 'Dee Dee' (Richards) Strout, are his son, Joseph J. Strout of Corinth; daughter, Edith (Strout) Stinson and her husband, Skyland, of Corinth; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Tuddy was predeceased by sisters, Elizabeth Rogers and Marilyn Cote; daughter, Linda Lee Trafton; and special friend, Joe Eaton. Many special canines, especially Smiley."
