She was a past matron of the Penobscot OES. Surviving are her husband, Merle H.; one son, Boyd M. of Presque Isle; two sisters, Miss Thelma I. Grindle and Mrs. Gladys M. Gray, both of Blue Hill; one brother, Dana R. of Milo; two grandchildren; and several, nieces and nephews."
