"Medieval English Ancestors of Certain Americans," Carl Boyer III (Santa Clarita, CA, 2001), p. 69 states "He married first Constance Picard. He married second Isabel Cantelupe, daughter of William, and said by some to be a niece or relative of the de Lacy family; she was a widow in 1245, holding Frome Herbert, and married second Roger Pembrugge." Isabelle M.M.Devereux offered via email 19 July 2012: "Stephen inherited Castle Frome and its lands through his mother, who was the heiress of William (or Walter) de Longchamp of Castle Frome, Herefordshire (the names Walter and William were used for the same person just to confuse everybody!) - he supplied honey from his manor at Ballingham to Hereford Castle - honey was used to sweeten and preserve food (there was no sugar beet or sugar cane in Britain).
Herefordshire Archaeology News Jan 1993, No.59, p.25: 'In July 1214 Stephen Devereux and his heirs were quit in perpetuity of their annual render of honey owed from their manor of Ballingham to Hereford Castle.'"

[31405] George's obituary in the Mansfield, OH "News-Journal," 14 May 1935, p. 16, states he was a member of the United Brethren Church (now part of the United Methodist Church) in Johnsville, and that he farmed near Johnsville, Perry Twp., Morrow Co., OH and lists his survivors. He and Lydia had Ethel Viola Rinehart Smith (1890-1971), Lewis Leonard Rinehart (1891-1966), Martha Ellen Rinehart Ross (1895-1977), Ernest B. Rinehart (1896-1948), Cromer B. Rinehart (1903-1982), Cover W. Rinehart (1903-1987), Irma Alice Rinehart Smith (1906-1993) & Lyle Oliver Rinehart (1908-1970).
[9675] Ira is son of Samuel Wallace (1827-1899) and Catherine Owen (1826-1886). His wife, Lenora, was also called Adda and Addie L. Loy. He was a trustee of Snyder's United Brethren Church and farmed near Meck's Corner in Perry County, but in retirement moved to his daughter Elsie's home in New Bloomfield. Susan (Sli1031@aol.com) wrote in December, 1999 via email: "I contacted you once before on my Thumma line...and was unable to connect..... I just noticed that we ARE related via my Wallace line... Ira S. Wallace's grandfather, Samuel Wallace who md. Eva Messimer is my ggg grandfather.... My grandfather was Ralph N. Wallace s/o George W. B. Wallace and Sarah Kohr...George was the s/o Ruben and Catherine Ann Wallace...." "The Perry County Times, 14 January 1943," p. 12: "Mr. Ira L. Wallace, a highly respected citizen of New Bloomfield, died at his home, on East High street, early Friday morning, January 8, 1943, in his 84th year. The deceased is survived by two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Grant Fox, of Duncannon; Mrs. Elsie Shearer, of this place; Andrew L. Wallace, of Lemoyne, and Elmer S. Wallace, of Hummelstown; also by a brother, John Wallace, of Meck's Corner, and nine grandchildren. Mr. Wallace was a life long member of Snyder's United Brethren Church. His life work was that of a farmer and only retired last spring when he took up his residence in this place. He was a good Christian man, respected by all who knew him."
