Leighton, Sr. of Rockland his stepfather, Ira Fickett of Milbridge; Charlotte L. Leighton of Bar Harbor; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bruce Leighton of Bar Harbor, Kenneth and Elizabeth (Smith) Leighton of Otter Creek; two daughters and a son-in-law, Geneva Leighton and fiance Mike Jones of Penobscot, Patricia (Leighton) and Fred Hibbard of Bar Harbor; many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews."
