She was born Oct. 30, 1894, at Bangor, the daughter of Oscar and Katherine (Pye) Mayo, and lived in East Corinth most of her life. She was a member of the United Baptist Church here, the OES in Charleston, the Tri-Town Club of Charleston, the Pine Cone Garden Club, and a charter member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of the East Corinth Ladies Aid, the Extension Service, and a former 4-H leader serving for 15 years. Surviving are her husband of here; three sons, Walter of Newcombe, N.Y., Eugene of El Dorado Hills, Calif., and Kenneth of Littleton; one daughter, Mrs. Warren (Kathryn) Gammons of Norwalk, Conn.; two sisters, Miss Ena Chapman and Mrs. George (Nellie) Bickmore, both of East Corinth; 13 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins."

The 1920 federal census lists this family in Chapman Twp., Snyder Co., PA. Samuel registered for the draft 12 September 1918 giving his residence as R.F.D. 1, Liverpool, Perry Co., PA and his occupation as farmer - he spelled his surname "Treevits".

From http://files.usgwarchives.net/pa/northumberland/bios2/f320345.txt in 2015: "Andrew Ziegler, son of Peter, was born Feb. 22, 1810, in Frederick township, Montgomery county, learned the trade of stonemason, and came with his father to Herndon, Northumberland county, where he passed the principal part of his active life. He acquired real estate in that town, where he died April 14, 1891, at the age of eighty-one years, and he is buried there. He and his wife, Catharine (Harner), were Lutherans in religious faith. She died when about forty-five years of age. They had a family of seven children, five sons and two daughters: Mary (deceased) married Samuel McKinny, of Herndon; Peter died at Herndon June 25, 1891, aged fifty-four years, twenty-two days; Alfred lives in Kansas (he visited Herndon in 1909); Andrew is a resident of Dalmatia, this county; Absalom is mentioned below; Catharine married William Brown, of Sunbury; Charles lives in the state of Washington."
