[4044] http://www.britannia.com/bios/ebk/jonasdo.html states: "Jonas was the son of Prince Deroch II. It was during his early 6th century reign, that Domnonée fell victim to the uncontrollable greed of King Conomor alias Mark of Cerniw & Poher. Under the guise of friendship, Conomor managed to both murder poor Jonas and marry his pretty young widow, the daughter of King Budic II of Brittany. His son, Judwal, eventually managed to reclaim the throne. He is probably to be identified with Iona, King of France as mentioned in the Arthurian story of "Culhwch and Olwen" in the Mabinogion."
[27843] The line shown here is not verified; it is presented as found on Ray Gurganus' web site, www.gurganus.org, in 2007 which states Brian is son of Alan FitzBrian (b. ca. 1158 in Bedale to Brian FitzAlan) and a daughter of Bertram Haget of Bainton, East Riding, Yorkshire.
