This source gives their father as William de Briwere, son of Henry de Briwere and _______ de Walton (Henry is son of William de Briwere). It gives Joan's mother as Bertha de Laval (b. ca. 1149), dau. of Guy de Laval (sonof Guy I de Laval of Yorkshire, son of Hugh de Laval and Dameta _____). Another source states Gracia is daughter of William de Briwere and his wife Beatrice de Vaux.

She cannot be found in the 1900 Census of Allegan Co. She is also listed as a daughter in Tilden's History of Stephenson Co.
