She was a retired school teacher and belonged to the Orangeville United Methodist Church, the Orangeville American Legion Auxiliary and the Orangeville Order of the Eastern Star. Born July 8, 1898, in South Wayne, Wis., she was the daughter of Ross and Sadie (Hale) Hobbs. She married Robert Ritzman June 10, 1925, in Freeport. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Hedin of Rochester, Minn.; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. LaVern (Evelyn) Graves of Platteville, Wis. Her husband, a sister and a brother preceded her in death."

[56299] Patricia's obituary: "Patricia E. Cushman, 80, entered this world Dec. 15, 1932, the fifth child of Arthur and Olive (Sabine) Inman. She departed May 3, 2013, to join God and her beloved sister, Jeannette; recently departed, sweet daughter, Pamela; dear brothers, Clifford and Roger; and her blessed mother and father. She was never alone in her final days; her family was always with her, holding her hand and loving her. She always said she was not afraid of dying, but that she would miss her children and family. Patty closed her pretty blue eyes at 7 p.m. and commenced her journey to Heaven. She left the cancer behind and she was free. Patty especially loved her times at Jeannette's camp, playing cards and cooking out. She loved summertime, and would visit and sit out for a while in the evening. Everyday her daughter, Melanie joined her for lunch and they would watch their favorite soap together. This was their time. Do not disturb! She was so fastidious about her appearance. Her hair had to be perfect, that was not debatable. She was stubborn, yet so sweet, sometimes quiet, sometimes not, tough, but tender, and always honest and compassionate. She is in a better place where she can finally breathe effortlessly. Her later life was fraught with illness, but she was a fighter and would come back every time, stronger than before. Her final battle could not be won, however she faced it bravely. Patty is survived by four adoring children, her three sons, Timothy, Roger and Billy; blessed with a wonderful daughter, Melanie, whom she called 'her Shadow,' so devoted, tending to her mother's every need, and never failing her, and Melanie's husband, Jerry; six dear grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Eric, William, Travis and Jayla; two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Mason; two brothers, William and Irving Inman; two sisters, Olive Pierce and Juanita Estey and her husband, Bernie; many nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Inman; and the father of her children and her friend, Bill Cushman."

Thus both husband and wife were descendants of ancient and noble families. Their son, Major Josias Champagne, fought under William of Orange at the battle of the Boyne and made his home at Portarlington. He married a daughter of the Earl of Granard, and their eldest son, the Dean of Clacmanoise, married the daughter of another French refugee, and their eldest daughter became the Countess of Uxbridge."

Find A Grave Memorial 15204526 offers: "Vice-Admiral Sir Frederick Spencer, 4th Earl Spencer KG CB PC was a British peer, the son of George Spencer, 2nd Earl Spencer and the younger brother and successor of John Charles Spencer, 3rd Earl Spencer. Spencer was born at the Admiralty Building, London and was baptised in St Martin-in-the-Fields. He was educated at Eton College from 1808 to 1811, then joined the Royal Navy as a midshipman. He eventually rose to the rank of Captain in 1822 and was awarded several honours from various European countries for fighting in the Napoleonic Wars in the Mediterranean between 1811 and 1815. These were: Knight of the Order of St Louis of France (1828), the Order of St Anne of Russia (1828) and the Order of the Redeemer of Greece (1828). He then retired from naval life and became Whig MP for Worcestershire (1831-1832) and Midhurst (1832-1834 & 1837-1841). He was later an equerry in the household of the Duchess of Kent (Queen Victoria's mother) from 1840 to 1845. Spencer was also noteworthy for being the first President of the Roxburghe Club, widely-regarded as the world's first book club. On 23 February 1830, he married his cousin, Georgiana Poyntz (1799-1851) and they had three children: Lady Georgina Frances, Sir John Poyntz Spencer, 5th Earl Spencer, Lady Sarah Isabella . On August 9, 1854, he married secondly, Adlaide Horatia Elizabeth Seymour, a great-granddaughter of Francis Seymour-Conway, 1st Marquess of Hertford and they had two children: Lady Victoria Alexandrina and Sir Charles Robert Spencer, 6th Earl Spencer."
