"The Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 8 April 1947, p. 13: "Ellsworth, April 7 - Nellie Frances Smith died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lloyd T. Dunham, April 3. She was the daughter of the late Lyman and Sarah Bragdon of Franklin, and had lived in Franklin practically all her life. She was a member of the Franklin club and the Daughters of Veterans of that town. She is survived by her husband, Norman A. Smith; four daughters, Mrs. Fred Holden of Milton, Mass., Mrs. Lloyd Dunham of Ellsworth, Mrs, Pauline Ashe of Sullivan, Mrs. Marion Fletcher of East Providence, R.I.; four sons, Athol of Braintree, Mass., Otho of East Providence, R.I., Langdon of Long Beach, Cal., Merle of Franklin. Surviving also are 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren."

"Bangor Daily News [Bangor, Maine]," 28 December 2022: "Dexter - Delmas L. Hodgkins, 79, passed away at his home on December 22, 2022, after some months of failing health. He was born at the Scott Webb Hospital in Hartland on March 8, 1943, to Robert E. Hodgkins Sr. and Arline (Willey) Hodgkins. Arline married E. Wesley Ham in 1952 and the Hodgkins/Ham family grew. Del graduated from Maine Central Institute in 1961 and the University of Maine, College of Engineering, class of 1966. He married Donna Thomas, June 13, 1964, and they were married for 58 years. David and Darlene were both born at New Britain General Hospital in 1967 and 1969.
Del's first job was at Fafnir Bearing Company in New Britain, CT, and then on to Monsanto Company in Deep River, CT. The family enjoyed living in Simsbury and Old Saybrook during those years. Del was the cubmaster of the Old Saybrook Cub Scout Pack 51. He fished on Long Island Sound with his buddy Sherwood Lincoln, an 'old salt.' The Hodgkins family moved back home to Dexter in fall 1979. Del worked as a production engineer at Fayscott. He was there until the plant closed in 2003 and was one of the last workers to leave the plant. During that time he was also the assistant scoutmaster of Troop 51 in Dexter. He was a trailmaster and grant writer for the Wassookeag Snowmobile Club. Del loved his special friends, his fishing and hunting buddies and the fall seasons they spent at hunting camp on Chase Hill. Del's pride and joy was the camp on Ambajejus Lake, where friends and family gathered in the summer with the beautiful view of Mt. Katahdin. He was predeceased by his mother, Arline (Willey) Ham; and his father, E. Wesley Ham. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Donna (Thomas) Hodgkins; son, David Hodgkins of Hallowell; daughter, Darlene and husband, Roy Ulrickson III, of Newport; grandsons, Roy Ulrickson IV and Thomas Ulrickson, Tom's girlfriend, Danika Stock, all of Newport; his brothers, Robert Hodgkins Jr. of Hartland, Harvey Hodgkins of Kensington, CT, and Phillip Ham of Palmyra; his sisters, Betty Lane of Windham, Alice and her husband, Leroy Vanadestine, of Hartland, Darlene and her husband, Wayne Charrier, of Troy, and Rochelle and her husband, Jay Oelrich, of Easthampton, MA; and many beloved nieces and nephews."

[23618] Mary's ancestry is not verified - it is from the Boydstun Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2010. The town of Boydston, Texas, was named after Henry S. Boydstun. About 1887, Henry and his father, James Berry Boydstun, went from Fort Worth, TX, to the Old Clarendon (TX) area (on the north banks of the north fork of the Red River) and passed through what is now Amarillo, TXs, into northern NM; they returned to Old Clarendon where Henry filed on the first section that was completely on the plains, 18 miles northwest of Clarendon. The first filing was forfeited, but Henry filed again.

On May 27, 1743, she was married to Johann Michael Muecke at Herrnhaag, Germany, simultaneously with the marriage of 23 other couples destined for Nazareth, Pa. She afterwards served with her husband in the school at Frederickstown and at other places. She left four sons. The Pennsylvania German Society 1910 Vol. 21 on page 58 lists Eva Catherine Muecke, maiden name Muezner, born 1720 at Boeckingen, near Heilbronn, Germany. She died in 1755 and is buried in the Old Moravian Cemetery at Bethlehem, Pa. Section C, Row 1, Plot 25."

"Kennebec Journal [Augusta, Maine]," 6 Apil 1963, p. 5: "Augusta - Frank Wardwell, 87, of 239 State St., was stricken and died on Water street Friday afternoon. He was born Feb. 16, 1876 at Penobscot, son of Quintas and Louise Leach Wardwell. He previously lived at Kingman where he was a member of the Kingman Methodist Church and Kingman Grange. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Henry Peters of Winthrop, Mrs. Percy Hanson of Gardiner and Mrs. Milan K. Wakefield of Gardiner; two sons, Carroll Wardwell of Auburn and Marshall of Farmingdale; three granddaughters and four greatgrandchildren."

Pauline (Michael) Zartman. On April 12, 1986, he married Kathy A. Dlabik, who survives. Dean was a 1955 graduate of Mahanoy Joint High School. Earlier in his life, he had worked for the Troutman Bros. butcher shop, Klingerstown, and Lebo's Bakery, Sunbury. He retired in 1990 after 17 1/2 years of service from the Selinsgrove Center. Following his retirement, he worked part time for his cousin, Gene, at Zartman Construction, where he delivered bids and particularly enjoyed escorting large cranes. Dean enjoyed building and repairing just about anything, and he was known by his family as a jack of all trades. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dean F. Zartman Jr. and wife Tina, of Centralia, Kan., and Jay D. Zartman and his companion, Taffi Ross-Johnston, of Northumberland; two grandchildren, Dawn Blewett and husband Chris and Karee Zartman; two stepgrandchildren, Katy and Chris Yarger; one sister and brother-in-law, Lorraine and Kermit Witmer, of Dalmatia; and two nieces, Jill Webber and Ann Pealer. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sonya Zartman."

Elizabeth was the youngest daughter of Johann Heinrich Zeller and Anna Marie Bruegel. Her father's family were among the thousands of French and German Protestants who fled religious prosecution in their homeland between 1708 and 1720. The Zellers migrated first to Holland, where her father met and married her mother, then to England, and finally to the American colonies in 1710. They lived for a few years in rural New York (Livingston Manor and Schoharie) before eventually settling in the Tulpehocken Valley in Pennsylvania in 1723 (in what is now Berks County).
Elizabeth married Johann Adam Batdorf in 1745 in Tulpehocken Pennsylvania. Adam died in 1757, and Elizabeth married Johann Leonard Schwartz in 1758.
A petition filed with the Berks County Orphans Court in 1759 states that Elizabeth and Adam had seven children:
