He was a member of the Advent Christian Church at Swan's Island. He is survived by his widow, Laura; two sons, Lawson and Melvin Bridge,s both of Stonington; four daughters, Mrs. Sybil Lunt of Bridgeport, Conn., Mrs. Thomas Derrife of Portland and Mrs. Flora Sturdee and Mrs William Yurchick of Stonington; a brother, Wilson of Keene, N.H.; two sisters, Mrs. Maurice Kennedy of Rockland and Mr,s Cecil Berdeen of Stonington; 27 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews."
