[39318] Find A Grave memorial 26453228 provides William's obituary: "William Hench, a former resident of Juniata County, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. B. Link, at Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Saturday, Sept. 29, [1906] at the age of 87 years. His remains reached Port Royal on Monday, accompanied by his son, Judge Samuel M. Hench, and were taken to the home of R. E. Groninger, where funeral services were conducted by Rev. McAfee, of the Presbyterian Church of which the deceased was a member, on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, after which interment was made in Church Hill cemetery. The deceased was well and favorably known by many of this section and was at one time and extensive contractor. A more extensive notice will be published next week."

She was born March 4, 1911 in Ashland, the daughter of William D. and Georgia (Portney) Snowman. Marion grew up in Ashland until moving to Hartland at the age of 14, She attended Hartland Academy, Marion married Levere Hart in 1933. After living in Corinna for more than 35 years she moved to Pittsfield in 1978. She was a good friend to her neighbors and a kind and loving mother and grandmother who always put her family first. She enjoyed her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, and would make doughnuts, cookies, pickles and jellies for them. She had a passion for her hobby of embroidery, having finished more than several pieces over the years. Marion had also been a member of the Farm Bureau and Grange. She is survived by her son, Bryan Hart and wife Marilyn, of Huber Heights, Ohio; daughters, Gloria Debeck and husband Charles of Pittsfield, Sandra Simpson and husband Wayne, and Carolyn Gillahan and husband Robert, all of Hampden; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren three great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Levere Hart, in 1981, and siblings Kathleen (Snowman) Snow and Vernon, Millard, and Donald Snowman."
