[59623] Muriel's obituary: "Bath - Muriel Florence Marenius, 85, went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2017, following a long illness. She was born on January 20, 1932, in West Penobscot, the daughter of Ralph and Carrie (Heath) Clement. She graduated from high school in Penobscot, class of 1949. On October 10, 1953, she married Edmund H. Marenius. They both worked for Stinson Canning Company for most of their working years. Muriel faithfully attended the Bath Alliance Church and served in multiple ministries there until it closed. She later fellowshipped at the Bath Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her husband of 63+ years; a daughter, Belinda M Sharpe of Pittsfield; 2 sons, Dennis E. Marenius of Lisbon Falls and David R. Marenius of Woolwich; a brother, Basil R. Clement of Penobscot; four grandchildren; Nissa R. Marenius of Raleigh, NC, Adric s. Marenius, CPT Cody R. Marenius, US Army of Woolwich, and Anthony J. Nixon of Norway. She is predeceased by her parents."

She was born July 27, 1922, in Surry, the daughter of Alvah E. and Lillian (Deviow) Leach. She made her home in Surry. She was a homemaker and enjoyed being with her children and spending time with her husband Lawrence A. 'Andy' Webber. They had a very large vegetable garden that they harvested and canned in season. Gertrude enjoyed people stopping by the house and socialized with them. She was known in the community as the house where the mothers would gather and the children would be outside playing. After her children were grown she worked at the Wymans blueberry factory. She is survived by her grandchildren, Lisa Bubel of Surry, Billy Webber of Ellsworth, Clyde Webber, Tenn., and Ben Wbber of Bangor, Ericka Bryant of Vinalhaven and Brandy Webber of Biddeford, and many great-grandchildren, especially Rebekah and Sue Bubel. She was predeceased by her husband, Andy; two sons, Louis and Clyde Webber; a daughter, Donna Leach."

[45747] Morgan's obituary: "Morgan S. Williams, 95, a lifelong resident of Dunmore, died Tuesday morning in the VNA Hospice Unit at the Moses Taylor Hospital. His wife of 67 years was the former Catherine Jones, who died July 7, 2004. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Griffith and Mary Coates Bell Williams. He was a graduate of Scranton Schools. He was a longtime member of the Presbyterian Church of Dunmore, where he and Catherine were married on June 26, 1937. He was a pillar of the church choir and the Adelite Class and was a leader of Boy Scout Troop #44. He was employed for a time by ICS. Prior to retirement, he was a welder and inspector for the former Daystrom, now Lockheed Martin, in Eynon for 25 years. Surviving are: a son, Donald M. Williams, and his wife, Terry, Scranton, his caregivers with whom he resided. A daughter, Janice W. Fuller, and her husband Clinton, Macomb Township, Michigan. 7 Grandchildren. 13 Great Grandchildren A nephew. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean Williams, and 2 Half-Brothers, William and George Bell. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 AM in the Presbyterian Church of Dunmore, 137 Chestnut Street, Dunmore, with Rev. Shawn R. Zanicky, pastor, officiating. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Township."
