[39919] The unverified Laura's Washburn Family Tree in Ancestry.com in 2015 offers: "When Judah Washburn was born on April 12, 1788, in Woodstock, Vermont, his father was 36, and his mother was 37. He married____ Marsh on April 15, 1810. They had eight children in 16 years. He died on March 31, 1846, in Montpelier, Vermont, at the age of 57, and was buried there." Find A Grave memorial 57113548 offers: " Son of Seth Washburn, Rev War Veteran, and Elisabeth Dunbar. Born Woodstock, VT, lived Hartland, and Duxbury, VT and possibly Plattsburg, NY before moving to Montpelier by 1820. Married Deborah Marsh 1810. Parents of: Alphonso G., Augusta C., Charles Henry, Lorenzo Marsh, Edward Daniel, Gustavus, Mary Eliza, and Sarah M. Judah was a painter and all of his sons picked up the trade. Son Edward D. Washburn was listed as "Artist" in one census and his inventory at death included artist type painting tools - his siblings, however, tended to be of the more mundane house and carriage painter type. Judah was originally buried in the Elm Street Cemetery, but was re-interred from Elm Street to Green Mount, Aug. 1856."
