[58444] Grace is daughter of Leslie Ernest Ellis and Marcia Lydia Varney - Marcia's obituary:"Lowell, Feb, 7 - Mrs. Marcia Priest, widow of Charles Priest, died in a Bangor hospital, Feb. 2, after a long illness. Mrs. Priest was born on Varney Hill in Lowell, Sept. 29, 1868. She was a daughter of Levi Varney, who was a Civil War veteran. When Mr. Varney died about 1878, the family moved to Bangor. In 1892, Mr. and Mrs. Priest were married and she came back to Lowell to live. After Mr. Priest's death Mrs. Priest lived with a daughter in Lowell and Massachusetts. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Grace Edgecomb of Brockton, Mass.; a son, Haller Priest of Lowell; a sister, Mrs. Frank A. Carlson of Brockton, Mass.; a brother, Charles L. Varney of Boston; three grandchildren, in Providence, R.I., and four grandchildren in Lowell. The funeral was held at the Barton funeral home in Lincoln. Interment was in the cemetery in the western part of Lowell."

She was born Feb. 9, 1915 at Cary, the daughter of Harold and Rose (Collins) Getchell. Lottie was a life long member of the Cary Baptist Church where she thought of the church family as her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother great grandmother and great great grandmother, she had a great love for fishing and was even anticipating fishing this spring at the age of 96. Lottie is survived by five sons James Knapp, Jerry Knapp and Cindy all of Houlton, Peter Knapp and Barbara of Cary, Jack Knapp and Billi-Ann, William Knapp Renee all of Houlton; three daughters Jane Liston-Luce of CT, Daisy Powciw of RI, Susan Willicki of RI; many grandchildren, great grandchildren great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Halson, her son Leslie "Sonny" Knapp and daughter Janet Sibalich. Interment will be in the No. Amity Cemetery."
