She was in failing health for the past two years, but has been confined to her bed during only the past seven weeks. She was born April 1, 1845, In Franklin township, the daughter of George and Rachel Wells, and was a lifelong resident of Richland county. The family moved to Mansfield after retiring from the farm and lived here for four years before removing to Shelby. She is survived by her husband and six children."
