She married John Bent, the son of Robert Bent and Agnes (Annis) Gosling, on October 03, 1624 in Penton Grafton, Wayhill, Hampshire County, England. Martha is rumored to descend from Alain Blanchard born in the fourteenth century and executed in 1419, he was a captain of crossbowmen in Rouen, France during the Hundred Years War. Martha and John were the parents of at least four children: Peter Bent (April 14, 1629-May 1678), he married Elizabeth Ollemar; Agnes Bent (December 12, 1631-June 04, 1713), she married Edward Rice, (October 20, 1622-August 16, 1712); John Bent (January 24, 1634-September 15, 1715), he married Hannah Stone (June 06, 1640-1689); Joseph Bent (May 16, 1641-June 03, 1675)."

He was born Aug. 4, 1940, in Searsport, Maine, the son of Arthur Dakin and Veneta Bradstreet Dakin. He was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Albert Dakin. Mr. Dakin was retired from the U.S. Army as a first sergeant in the 101st Airborne Division. He served two tours in Vietnam, was a member of the American Legion Post No. 233, VFW post No. 4895, Military Order of the Cooties Pup Tent No. 4. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Small Dakin, Clarksville; sons, Ron (Priscilla) Dakin, Clarksville, Richard (Terri) Dakin, Clarksville, Don (Tara) Dakin, Dyersburg; brothers, Arlan Dakin, Swanville, Maine, Leroy Dakin, Brandon, Fla; stepmother, Marion Dakin, Stockton Springs, Maine; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren."

One year after officially becoming an adult in 1697, he married his beloved Anna Louise in Dessau, on 8 September 1698. They had ten children. . . .Leopold and Anna Louise enjoyed a long and happy marriage, and the princess acquired an influence over her husband that she never ceased to exert on behalf of his subjects. After the death of Leopold's mother she performed the duties of regent when he was absent on campaign. Often, too, she accompanied him into the field."
