[37902] "The Perry County Democrat [Bloonfield, PA], 25 January 1905," p. 3: "Our Spring township correspondent from Locust Grove sends us the following: On Wednesday morning, January 18, 1905, death claimed one of our oldest citizens, Mr. Robert Crozier. Mr. Crozier had not been well for some time, he having had a stroke several months ago and he was confined to his bed a greater part of the time, until he was called to his eternal home in Heaven. Mr. Crozier worked at farming a good part of his life. The past eight years he was employed by Dickinson, Gilbert & Keen to run their cream separator at Bridgeport. Mr. Crozier was a good husband, father and neighbor and will be greatly missed by all. He was the father of several children of whom seven are living namely: John, of Alinda; George, of Harrisburg; Robert, of Jersey City; William, with whom be made his home since the death of his wife three years ago; Charles, of Spring township; Nettie, (Mrs. Bender), of Sandy Hollow; and Minnie (Mrs. Shatto). Mr. Crozier's remains were laid to rest by the side of his wife in St. Peter's cemetery on Friday morning, his Pastor, Rev. Shellenberger, officiating at the funeral. Mr. Crozier was about 68 years of age."

[23635] AKA Johan Casper Hepler. PA Archives, Series 5, Vol. 8, Page 55: Caspar served in the military forces of the Revolutionary War. There was "A General Muster of Northampton County Militia" for 14th of May 1778 extant, listing Captain Joseph Kooken in command of the first Company and showing Caspar as one of ten members of First Class. This unit appears to have been a home constabulary, with little known battle participation. (Source: Hepler Family History, 1986, Avice Hepler Morgan) Caspar is an SAR PAtriot - see member 221460. Casper, Jr. bought his brother Christopher's; her's portion of the farm in 1785. He, his wife Anna Maria and their children lived there until December 9, 1795, until he sold his farm to Balthaser Shultz. Casper set out in a north westerly direction to Mahantongo Twp., Berks County, near Eldred Twp., Schuylkill County, PA. (- from tree of Nancy Jeanne Rochelle Walker [n.jrochelle@verison.net] on http://awt.ancestry.com in 2004, and is not verified). Cf. Doug Murphy's Genealogy at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~djmurphy in 2007. His children (from Find A Grave memorial 34494836): "Johannes Hepler (1774-1834), Peter M Hepler (1775-1842), Christopher Hepler (1777-1847), Catharina Hepler Kehler (1779-1827), Susanna Hepler Kehler (1780-1847), Anna Maria Hepler Reitz (1784-1857), Anna Margaretha Hepler Brosius (1786-1838), Jacob Hepler (1788-1809), Johann Georg Hepler (1790-1867), Lydia Hepler Ferster (1792-1858), Heinrich Hepler (1795-1864), Benjamin Hepler (1797-1798) and Gertrude Hepler (1801-1821).
[40554] Find A Grave Memorial 157701736 indicates his parents and offers: "James Reid was educated at Aberdeen Grammar School and the Aberdeen University where he qualified as a Doctor of Medicine in 1871. He practised in Edinburgh before moving to London to set up a practice, seeing patients for a decade before being appointed a resident physician to Queen Victoria, whom he served until her death, then Edward VII throughout the whole of his reign and finally George V. In 1899, he married the Honourable Susan Baring, daughter of Edward Baring, 1st Baron Revelstoke, who had been Maid of honour to Queen Victoria 1898-1899. In 1897, he was created a Baronet taking the title of 1st Baronet Reid, of Ellon. He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration, was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (KCB) and invested as a Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (GCVO). He died in post in London."
