Mr. Buckingham had farmed in the Cerro Gordo area nearly all his life and had lived in Cerro Gordo for 10 years. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Cerro Gordo. He was born near Oakley on March 12, 1882, a son of Frank and Amanda Millinger Buckingham. He married Ada Berry on March 12, 1908, near Lintner. Mr. Buckingham leaves his wife; two sons, Herman, Leesburg, Ind., and Merlin, Monticello; a daughter, Mrs. Louis Roberts, Cerro Gordo; a brother, Fred, Fostoria, O.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Wine, Soudi Whitely, Ind., and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be at 3 p. m. (CDT) Saturday in the Cerro Gordo Church of the Brethren. Burial will be in LaPlace Cemetery."
