[61393] Barbara's obituary: "Bucksport - Barbara T. Gray, 73, died Friday, July 24, 2009, at an Ellsworth hospital. She was born Jan. 20, 1936, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Leach) Tyler. Upon graduating from Bucksport High School, Barbara continued her education at the University of Maine, Orono, receiving a bachelors degree in education with a concentration in mathematics. Years later Barbara returned to school receiving her masters degree in guidance from the University of Maine. She taught mathematics for many years at various schools in Maine and New England. Barbara was especially fond of continuing her education; she was an avid reader and always enjoyed a good game of bridge and Scrabble. She spent many peaceful hours knitting, but most of all loved spending time with her dear family and friends.
