With his unknown second wife John had John (4th son, ancestor of the Cranmer fmily of Astwood and Loudham), Edmund (5th son, supposed ancestor of the family of Mitcham) and Robert (6th son, "of Chevening, Kent"). "Thomas Cranmer and the English Reformation," A. F. Pollard (New York: Putnam, 1906), p. 384A, states that his first wife was Cecily, dead in 1538, daughter of _____ Quadring, and that John's second wife was Isabel (m. 1538, d. 1550), daughter of Charles Morton, Esq. of Bawtry, Notts.; this chart also gives John's children and grandchildren.
