"Thomas Cranmer and the English Reformation," A. F. Pollard (New York: Putnam, 1906), p. 384A, states that his first wife was Cecily, dead in 1538, daughter of _____ Quadring, and that John's second wife was Isabel (m. 1538, d. 1550), daughter of Charles Morton, Esq. of Bawtry, Notts.; this chart also gives John's children and grandchildren.
