Baltozer, 60, retired Pennsylvania Railroad conductor, Philadelphia Division, died Monday at his home, 5314 Winfield street, Colonial Park. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen No. 42, Pennsylvania Railroad Relief, West Shore Lodge Knights of Pythias, and the Friendship Fire Company. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jennie M. Baltozer; three sons, Stanley, South Enola; Charles, Shippensburg, and Morris; a daughter, Mrs. Edgar Foultz; a brother Earl, Balboa, Canal Zone, and five grandchildren."
Alfred enrolled in 1st Officers Training Camp, Fort Snelling, Minn., and "on May 15, 1917; called into active service, and commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, Aug. 15, 1917; assigned to 102nd Machine Gun Battalion, to discharge. Promoted: 1st Lieutenant, July 20, 1918; overseas from Sept. 6, 1917, to May 25, 1919; wounded, slightly, July 22, 1918; wounded, severely, Sept. 26, 1918. Engagements: Offensives: Aisne-Marne: St. Mihiel. Defensive: Champagne-Marne. Defensive Sectors: Chemin-des-Dames, Pas-Fini (Ile-de-France); Toul-Boucq, Rupt, Troyon (Lorraine). Discharged at Washington, D. C., on Dec. 22, 1922, as a 1st Lieutenant. Cited in General Orders No. 74, Headquarters, 26th Division, AEF, France, Aug. 31, 1918. The Division Commander takes great pleasure in citing in orders the following named officers and men: * * *, * * *, 2nd Lieutenant Alfred J. Coffin, a prominent citizen of this town, were held in the beautiful outdoor setting of Forest Hill cemetery Sunday afternoon. Bearers were Clarence Nash, Vernon Cushing, Donald White, and George Frye. A tribute written by a friend was read by the Rev. Earl Bigelow, officiating minister at the services. Mr. Coffin was first selectman of Harrington for over a period of 21 years and held many other offices. He had been manager of the Riverside Canning company for the past 18 years; agent for the Home Insurance company of New York for 25 years, for the Hartford Fire Insurance company and Employers Liability Insurance company for many years. He was president of the Harrington Realty company and secretary of the Quantabacook Water company. He was a member of Tuscan lodge F. and A. M., Addison, of Washington R. A. chapter, Machias, and of St. Elmo commandery, Machias; treasurer of the Narraguagus Fish and Game association; secretary-treasurer of the Washington County Republican committee; member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce; chairman, purchase and supply, district relief of the Civilian Defense council and the Red Cross; first assistant air raid warden; associate member of the Advisory Board No. 1, Machias; and chairman of the Defense Savings committee for Harrington. Surviving are his wife, Mildred; two daughters, Mrs. Oscar Carver of Beals and Mrs. Elton Beckwith of Washington, D. C.; and two grandchildren; also four brothers and one sister, Clifford H. Coffin and Paul Stanley Coffin of Framingham, Mass., the Rev. George H. Coffin of Ascutney. Vt., Robert L. Coffin of Amherst, Mass., and Grace E. Coffin of Boston, Mass."

[55955] Mina's obituary: "Orland - Mina F. Archer, 99, went to be with her Lord on Friday November 29, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was born August 19, 1920 daughter of Augustus W. and Clara (Phillips) York in West Penobscot. Mina attended the Penobscot school system, including the one room eight grade school. She did many kinds of work including many years at the Treworgy Store in Bucksport. She was a member and great worker in the S. Orland Church of God. Later moving to Bucksport, she worked and played organ at the Bucksport Church of God. Mina lived a loving and happy life. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her one brother and his wife Kenneth and Hilda York, her first husband Thomas Webster, their two infant children; Marilyn Marie and Larry Thomas Webster, her second husband Rev. Roland Faunce, and many cousins. Mina was still very close to the Faunce Family. Mina is survived by her husband Rev. Russell Archer, they married June of 2016 and have had a very special life together. Now the curtain has fallen, and Mina is home over there with her Lord. 'These last years with Russell have been heaven sent,' said Mina 'I believe, and I shall see him over there, and my families here will all be one.'"
