[19203] Find A Grave memorial 58128698 offers: "The Trinity Lutheran Church Marriage Records list Jacob as the second son of Heinrich Esq. of Reading and his bride, Susanna Gross, as the daughter of late Johannes Gross of Maxatawny Township. He married Susanna Gross on 27 September 1785 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Reading, Pennsylvania. He was a farmer in the vicinity of Nathway, Berks County, Pennsylvania. He sold his land for a couple of chests of Continental money; this money depreciated and left him almost money-less and he struck out to a new area, locating in Williams Valley, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania sometime after 1794. Here he received a tract of land extending from the present site of Pine Grove down the valley. He began the manufacture of lumber and cleared an area to build a home. His nearest market was Philadelphia. (From Cyclopedia of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania by Samuel T. Wiley, Rush, West & Co.)"

[29680] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_de_Neubourg offers: "He was the fourth son of Henry de Beaumont, 1st Earl of Warwick, and inherited his father's Normandy lands, holding Neubourg from Waleran de Beaumont, 1st Earl of Worcester, a Beaumont family cousin, as Comte de Meulan. He was Sire du Ponteaudemer, and acquired other lands at Winfrith, Dorset. He took part in the Norman rebellion of 1118-1119, against Henry I of England, around William Clito. The immediate issue was a conflict with his feudal overlord, Waleran. He rebelled for a short time only, being burnt out of Neubourg. It was only in the early 1140s that Robert and Waleran resolved their difficulties formally. Later he was steward, justiciar and seneschal of Normandy under Henry II of England."

[32643] From the unverified "History of Baron Von Sitler and the Sitler Family": "Baron Von Sitler was a very rich man for his day and generation. He was owner of a Baronial Estate in Bavaria, Germany and was engaged in the Manufacturing of Silks at Munich and made an immense fortune in the business. He was a Roman Catholic. He had two sons and one daughter. Elizabeth, Dietrich and Matthias Sitler. They became followers of Martin Lutheran's Religion, something that displeased the father and resulted in the two sons and daughter deciding to Migrate to America and make this country their future home. Baron Von Sitler gave each of his children a liberal sum of money in gold and requested them to do the best they could with it in America as it was the last they ever would get from his Estate. Their grandchildren would get the rest of his Estate. The two sons and daughter sailed from Germany Nov. 2 - 1736. Landed at Philadelphia Pa. Diedrich Sitler located in Berks Co. Pa. Matthias Sitler and his sister located at York, Pa."
