[35008] Her name is also seen Codelia and Sidelia. This line is from http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~battle/celeb/mueller.htm in 2013 and is not verified; it states Cedelia is daughter of T. A. Madison and wife Mary A. _____. Find A Grave memorial 148039125 offers her obituary: "Mrs. Cedelia Burnett died on the 23d at the home of her, daughter, Mrs. W. H. Truesdale, at Greenwich Conn. Her remains were brought to this city for interment yesterday in the private car of her son-in-law, W. H. Truesdale, president of the Delaware & Lackawanna railroad. Mrs. Burnett came to Terre Haute when two years old with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tyndall Madison, and spent her life here until after the death of her husband, Mr. Burnett, in 1892, when she went to live with her daughter, Mrs. William Steele of Minneapolis until her death, three years ago. Since then she has lived with Mrs. Truesdale. Mrs. Burnett was married in her early youth to Melville Topping, who later became colonel of the Seventy-first Indiana Volunteers during the civil war. Colonel Topping was killed in the battle at Richmond early in the war. His death and military funeral produced a profound impression on the community, leaving as he did, a pretty young wife and two little girls. In 1872 Mrs. Topping married Mr. L. A. Burnett, a prominent republican, who held several offices and was at the head of a leather house. Mrs. Burnett is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary Madison, ninety-four years old, two brothers, Edgar of this city and Herbert E. Madison of Chicago, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Leone of Passaic, NJ., and Mrs. Katherine Reed of Cincinnati. A funeral service was held at 11 oclock at St. Stephens church. The interment was private at Woodlawn cemetery, where she was laid by the side of Colonel Topping. The pallbearers were Horace M. Smith, George E. Farrington, Frank McKeen, L. J. Cox, William C. Ball and Spencer F. Ball. In the party who came for the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Truesdale and son Calvin, Mrs. Richard Bissell of' Hartford, Conn., a granddaughter; Mr. William Steele, Mrs. Taylor of Worthington, H. E. Madison and Miss Damond. Mrs. Horace M. Smith and Miss Margaret Tuill are nieces of Mrs. Burnett through her first husband."
