Bowers of Winslow, with whom she made her home Mrs. Bowers was born at Elders Ridge, Indiana Co, in Sept, 1836, but since 12 years of age has resided on the farm where she died. Her husband John Bowers, died in 1857. She is survived by three children, namely Philip B. Bowers of Winslow, who resides on the old homestead; Mrs. Catherine Colkitt, of this place; and Harvey S. Bowers of Greenwood Acre."
