She was born Dec. 5, 1936 in Castine, the daughter of Malcolm and Mary (Heath) Wardwell. She is survived by two daugters, Jennifer Stanley and her husband, Keith, and Janice Cross and her husband, Charles, all of Surry; one granddaughter, Heather Lynn Stanley of Surry; one aunt, Hilda Deans of Orland At her request she will be buried with her faithful companion, Clarence her Irish Setter. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Castine Cemetery. . . ."
