He moved across the Alps (947), married her (since his first wife, Anglo-Saxon Princess Editha had died in 946), and called himself King of Italy. Left a widow again in 973 she was badly treated by her son and his wife. In old age she was regent of the empire. Before her death she retired to a convent. Her feast day is Dec. 16. Born July 11, 1945, daughter of the late Bexton S. Seamans and Bernice E. (Burleigh) Seamans. Sandra married David W. Tibbitts, her high school sweetheart and 'the love of her life' in 1963. They were married 53 years until his passing in 2016. As her children grew, she was a Crossing Guard for the Millinocket Schools. She then earned went on to her CNA License and worked in the Millinocket Nursing Home and Millinocket Regional Hospital. Later, she went on to earn her Electrologist license at the Electrology Institute of NE, at which time she opened her own business Bare Elegance in Millinocket. After retiring, she and David moved to Florida, where over the years they enjoyed taking rides exploring Florida, and watching many beautiful sunsets. She was predeceased by her husband, David W. Tibbitts; her parents; her in-laws; her brother, Steven Seamans; her brother-in-law, Donald Tibbitts Jr.; and three nephews, Justin Seamans, Adam Seamans and Corey Andrick. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Becky D. (Tibbitts) Doughty and her husband, Paul, of Gorham, ME; her son, Lonnie W. Tibbitts and his partner, Robin Moore, of Wildwood, FL; and three grandchildren, Sarah and Ryan Doughty, and Isabella Tibbitts. She is also survived by her brothers Dennis Seamans and wife, Susan, and Roger Seamans and wife, Donna; her sister Earlene Andrick and husband, Paul; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Tibbitts, Nancy Goodell, Susan Wilson and Sue Seamans; and several nieces and nephews. Per Sandra and David's wishes, they will be laid to rest at Millinocket Cemetery in a dual graveside memorial to be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 11 a.m."
