He was born in Littleton, July 8, 1937, the fourth child of Herbert and Violet (Tapley) Henderson. He worked 34 years for the Maine Dept. of Transportation as well as 14 years at Steelstone where Gene Bartley was his hero. Upon retirement he enjoyed sitting on the porch watching and waving to people. He also enjoyed sitting in the square with John McGary. Bob and his son, Steve spent a lot of time fishing together. Bob married Sandra Pangburn on March 22, 1955. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sandra Pangburn Henderson of Littleton; his son, Stephen Henderson of Littleton; daughters, Karen and Al Butler of Brunswick, Robin and Mark Wellman of Levant, and Lisa Henderson Mooers of Brewer; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fern Sewell of Houlton; one brother Ronald and Nancy Henderson of Fairfield; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Ruth; brother, Garth (Dick)."

Mr. Wood was the son of Louis and Ruth Wood and lived in Dawson more than twenty years. He was born Mav 7, 1855. His wife Lyda Holland Wood preceded him In death eight years ago. Surviving are four children: Mrs. Ceorge Rutter and Wilbur H. Wood of Connellsvllle, Harry J. Wood of Uniontown and George M. Wood of McClellandtown. Eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive."
